Lisa Kudrow, who many fans know from her Emmy-winning role as Phoebe Buffay from NBC’s “Friends,” will take on the Gladiators this fall. Deadline is reporting that the actress has booked a recurring gig on the ABC hit series, “Scandal.” While the role is being kept under wraps, it has been noted that Kudrow will be playing a politician.
Currently staring in her own series, that she also produces, on Showtime, “Web Therapy,” Kudrow joins alongside her production company partner, Dan Bucatinsky, who plays James Novak on the primetime series. Both also produce the TLC original series, “Who Do You Think You Are?‘
“Scandal” returns with its third season premiere on October 3, 2013.
