The loss of a beloved icon and television character, “The Young and the Restless” will soon have its residents of Genoa City address and mourn the death of Katherine Chancellor, which was played by Jeanne Cooper, who passed away this May.
This past May, following the Memorial Day holiday weekend, “Y&R” aired a special tribute episode to Jeanne Cooper, where her fellow colleagues, friends, and family gathered together to remember and honor the woman behind the character.
Daniel Goddard, Cane Ashby, took to his Facebook page to let the fans know that beginning this coming Tuesday, the show begins filming the memorial episodes for Kay. No word yet as to who else will take part, but expect the episodes to air on CBS Daytime September 3 & 4, 2013.
